    they talked about having dirt in the infield for next year. That would be a great plus. I hate the cut outs. Of course a real grass field would be the best option but it's a step in the right direction

    only down side with Revere is that he has a noodle arm. otherwise he's a very good defender as well as a .300 hitter over his career and an amazing base stealer. .

    It will cost them at least 25/Year for top end starter. Can jiminez catch as our backup next year?

    3 for 40 is about what it will take to get him. so maybe 16 million for year 1 and 12M per year for years 2 and 3.

    I'd disagree on league average. plus speed, plus reads, plus routes, minus arm, but he's smart enough to throw to the right base and know what his role is. then you can add in a .300 hitter who doesn't K and an elite base stealer, We can start the year rotating Jose between RF and 1st base and Pompey place the days he is at first. after may Jose is the every day 1st base and ED is the every day DH from game 1. Cola is our back up first baseman and bench bat. very good piece to have on the field. MIddlr infield id Travis and Tulo. Goins can back up and maybe play later game defense to keep Travis fresh. Travis can also give Tulo at least half a day off every week.

    add 25M for a front line starter and Estrada for 14M and we get close to the 150 million people are guessing. the era of a complete waste of money to RickyRo has finally come to an end.

    Saunders is a one kneed accident waiting to happen. Let him go. I'd be moving Jose to First, OF of Saunders, Pompey and Pillar. Thole is a one trick pony. "IF" dickey is kept they need to look to someone else to catch him. 2+ WAR for the price of Dicky is cheap if he is second half Dickey. If he is first half Dickey it's a waste of money.

    A big thing going forward is that the Jays front office finally decided that they need substance over style. it was a new direction for them and the team got a lot better to watch. there should be money available to make moves and players should be very interested to be part of this team going into next year

    a team that started the year as a .500 team and ownership/AA made huge commitments to the team to help them win the division and take us on a wild ride through 2 rounds of the playoffs. It was a great year no matter how it ended. Some of the most exciting baseball for jays fans in over 2 decades.

    jays won the division and pushed back from down 2-0 to win division series with Texas... it will feel better next week but this game is a little bitter. GO METS!!
