  10. I don't know how I missed this. This is one big ball of stupid. Holy f***ing s*** this is dumn. You are dumn. Enough.
  11. Agreed, it's a big adjustment for an 18 year old, and he's posting solid PD numbers on a low BABIP. Not gonna worry about him until 2015.
  12. Rays acquire David DeJesus according to Marc Topkin

I wish the Leafs had cap room to go after Damien Brunner or Tom Gilbert or Ian White. Oh, and YAYGOODNEWS! About Nonis, even! The Leafs seem to be prepared to offer Kessel around 8/70, and Kessel does want to stay in TO. All signs point to us keeping him, which makes me a happy camper. And fwiw, Nonis has spoken on Dion probably staying.
  14. I think Hamilton will rebound. He has a BABIP well below his career mean, 60 points below it, with an LD% right around his career. His strikeouts are down from last year (still bad but improving), he's been better after terrible April and Junes, his O-Swing% is actually down from last year and right around 2011, and his Z-Contact% is a tick below his career mean. His swing% is down, so maybe he's taking pitches he shouldn't cause of that can't see in the sun with blue eyes ********? Idk. I hope he can bounce back, I really like Hambone.
  15. Great read, Olerud, but like Terminator said, you may be better off bolding what the original quote was and leaving your writing in normal font, it makes it easier to read, like Stoeten does haha. Only difference is what you posted was intelligent I dunno, I see 2016-2017. We have lots of young pieces coming up or even settling in around then (Norris, Barreto, Sanchez, Osuna, etc) and Lawrie should be entering his peak. (This is after Beeston suddenly has a non-fatal heart attack causing him to step down, causing us to hire some wall street guy who realizes AA is dumn, punches him in the face and fires him and replaces him with another wall street guy, and compliment our young pieces with intelligent free agent signings. And then I wake up.)

And then last night happens and it backfires and we want him gone lol.
  17. f*** off Pittsburgh
  18. f***. Yes.
  19. I don't know if I find the idea of this over-complicated or tantalizing.

We don't need him next year, but if we plan to even try and contend next year, he's a really useful bench piece.
  21. f*** off cain

Okay, this seems reasonable. My arguments: 1.) We shouldn't let Davis leave. He's a valuable contributor. 2.) Why should we treat Oliver with respect after the s*** he pulled in the offseason? Quite frankly, f*** him. 3.) The kids will get playing time. It's September. One of Nolin/Stroman *MAY* be starting Saturday, we've got a Gose/Pillar/Sierra OF, we may see Jimenez and Stilson, etc.
