  1. http://i48.tinypic.com/156e70w.jpg Guys, Goins has been half decent in 12 PA. He's nice defensively, but seriously, can we not start making him seem like a legitimate starting option a la Sierra? He's a nice utility guy, and I would love him pushing us to trade Izturdis (if Kawasaki doesn't do that), but let's not make it seem like he's more than a slightly above replacement level utility guy.
  2. Marc Hulet dropped some prospect knowledge on the Jays today. Kendall Graveman Dalton Pompey Emilio Guerrero Santiago Nessy Dan Klein http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/prospect-stock-watch-julio-urias-and-some-blue-jays/
  3. We can hope, but I'm not holding my breath.
  4. I didn't want to make a new thread for this, but the Jays have signed a former Atlantic League MVP. http://bleacherreport.com/tb/db6pA?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=toronto-blue-jays
  5. Where the f*** do you even get this stuff?
  6. Pretty much $0 in surplus value. Nice #4. Totally not thread worthy. Dumn thread is dumn. Sigh, is this what this year has turned into?
  7. Does anyone have Gose/Davis 60 times?
  8. That sounds painful I can see why you would, but I wouldn't.
  9. Idk on Dean. He's got a Puigian (coining that) BABIP of .419 and his peripherals still kinda suck. His sample last year of a comparable size with a much lower BABIP (.333 which could still be considered high) consisted of a 78 wRC+. He's striking out too much and I dunno if he'll fix that. I like Dean, but I think my ranking for him (#22) is probably about right, if not a tad high.
  10. Holy f***ing s***, just STOP TALKING. Sal Fasano, Matt Williams, Demarlo Hale, Manny Acta. Those would probably be my favorite candidates. I'm interested in Ripken wanting to manage, though.
  11. Which is part of the reason I'd like him here next year. The K's and BB's are just so good.
  12. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2013 Toronto Blue Jays. Wow.
  13. I'm assuming you guess JPA?
  14. How the f*** does Todd Redmond have a better xFIP than JA Happ? Seriously guys, what the f***?
  15. Eeking it in as the last spot and then dominating the first round. Just call me the LA Kings
  16. If we're doing top 20 prospects idk 1.) Aaron Sanchez 2.) Robrto Osuna 3.) Marcus Stroman 4.) Daniel Norris 5.) DJ Davis 6.) Franklin Barreto 7.) AJ Jimenez 8.) Sean Nolin 9.) Alberto Tirado 10.) Mitchell Nay 11.) Jacob Brentz 12.) Dawel Lugo 13.) Rowdy Tellez 14.) Matthew Smoral 15.) Andy Burns 16.) Christian Lopes 17.) John Stilson 18.) Clinton Hollon 19.) Anthony Alford 20.) Dwight Smith, Jr. Oh and I don't have guys like Pillar and Goins on this list because they're in the bigs. Personal choice. The next guys in my top 50 are guys like Dean, DeJong, Cardona, Nessy, Pompey, McGuire (prove me right Deck!).
  17. This team can't even tank properly gah
  18. I thought we would win today. Wow.
  19. Why are you asking me this? I'm not advocating we hire Hale; it's what I believe will happen based on past events.
  20. I didn't say he would be? The team interviewed him for managerial roles twice, I think. If Gibby ends up gone I think that's who takes over.
  21. I have a feeling Hale would take over immediately and we probably wouldn't be subjected to yet another meaningless search.
