    Simply based on intuition I'd wager Liriano starts with both Stroman and Happ available as middle relief if need be. Looked like Happ was having a serious conversation with Walker midway through the celebrations today...Happ looked dead serious - could be he was being asked/told to be ready on short rest. Liriano starting gives us a couple of good options from the pen then, both a lefty and righty.

    Of course I'll be sad if the Jays wind up wasting this season but to be honest they've been so inconsistent this year they don't really deserve a spot. I'll be happy if they can make it but I'll understand if they don't. That being said, go Cubs, Indians, Nationals and Dodgers if the Jays can't make it. Great stories with all those teams.

    They showed us two angles here on the jumbotron and neither of them clearly showed when the ball entered the glove. To the naked eye he looked out but the rules state that a video needs to be conclusive and there was absolutely nothing conclusive about those angles.

    I was actually wondering about the team chemistry ever since that story broke. In the report EE did say something about not wanting a teammate to know IIRC. They don't have the same swagger and it seems like something is missing. Probably coincidental but we'll probably never know.

    Don't understand why the home plate umpire overruled Joyce's call who clearly had a better first look. They should have gone to review with call on the field being fair. So stupid.
