    I enjoy sports where breaks in the action might be an opportunity for a sideline report, an interview or some analysis rather than an immediate cut to ten minutes of commercials.

    Baseball is such a funny game. Would it not be poetic were Terry Francona to manage both a 3-0 comeback as well as a 3-0 collapse? Would be fantastic drama.

    This is one of those series that could have just as easily been a sweep for either team or gone a full seven games, if that makes sense. To me the Jays bats coming around and the team taking three in a row is still a distinct possibility. If the gods start to favor us then anything can happen.

    These announcers are learning about our team by the seat of their pants. The wonder in their voices when something goes the Jays' way leads me to believe they think we are some slo pitch softball team that somehow found themselves in the mlb playoffs.

    Speaking of TBS sucking, I only caught part of the Jays game earlier but was it just me or did every good play by the Jays result in sounds of disgust by the announcers? Very pro-Texas bias it sounded like. (Not that it surprised me).
