  1. There must be a broadcast director who is smart enough to change camera angles on the fly for balls hit into either corner, lol.
  2. Easily safe, what is with this inconsistency in NY?
  3. Gotta feel for Hoffman. It must be incredibly tough to have a great playoffs but blow game 7 of the world series. There has to be a mental component to what is going on with him. I really hope he can get right. The team does need him if they hope to have a successful year.
  4. Bad luck, and more of it. Baseball gods really hate the Jays right now
  5. No magic in this team at the moment. So sad to watch after last year especially :(
  6. Pretty non-competitive ABs tonight. Injuries can't be the reason the rest of the lineup is struggling.
  7. Bent his finger. Maybe it will help his launch angle.
  8. Left knee discomfort for Varsho.....this team is giving me whole body discomfort right now
  9. Jays have such an odd schedule; not until game 28 of the season do they play a single team in their division. Also, outside two September series with the Orioles, the Jays are otherwise done with division play on Aug 23rd! The team really needs to gel before the end of April and stay hot until the end of August. Losing these early games isn't ideal but at least we aren't losing to our division rivals.
  10. That is some real ********, soft contact and a braindead play lead to 2 runs
  11. Said it already but it's tough to face the shite teams to start the season while the Jays themselves are trying to figure things out. Sure it's a tough week, but it also sucks to not have more games against bottom feeders later in the year. Silver lining in that the Sox and Rockies are not from our division.
  12. Baseball is a funny sport. Never as good as we are when winning, or as bad as we are when losing. Still, the Dodgers series feels big. Either the team will take 2/3 or more and feel like they CAN climb the mountain again, or we are the ones demoralized and looking for answers. Gonna be a nerve wracking few days!
  13. It's a pity to play all these (eventually) bad teams right out the chute. Feel like it takes some time for good teams to gel positively and bad teams to solidify as being poor. During that time the games are closer to toss-ups than they'd be later in the year.
  14. Heineman's error didn't ultimately matter. Little has to go.
  15. It's one thing to give a guy a chance in a big spot to build his confidence but your team has been scuffling. Protecting a one run lead is NOT the way to do this.
  16. Could've stomached the Mets but this is just bad for the sport.
