His cutter might be a better pitch than Fisher's fastball, which has terrible characteristics

The way the Jays are hitting today is encouraging. Not getting a ton of runs, but they're seeing the ball and connecting well.

His fastball definitely doesn't play unless he's dotting it. His secondaries have decent bite and he appears to also have decent command of them. Mixing a sweeper with a 12-6 along with the cutter up could be useful for an inning or two out of the pen. It's all about the command and sequencing with him more so due to his mediocre velocity.
