I think springer done. His bat speed looks like he's 37 years old. Injuries could be catching up to him.

Get his ass in the field to shake things up.  He magically became a better player once he went full DH last year so maybe the opposite will happen this year.   If he breaks, he breaks lol

His bat speed is relatively the same as last year. I am not sure what is up with him.

His bat speed is exactly the same almost as last year.

If you remember they moved him down line up last year and he earned his way up. Time to slide him down again.

Problem is majority of the lineup sucks and no one deserves to move up.

It is not the losses, it is how they are losing.  Poor managerial decisions with Hoffman.  Poor execution by Ernie trying to do too much.  Errors by Vladdy and his total ineptitude at the plate.   I was listening on radio and even I knew how they were going to pitch him.   As each inning went by with no hitting or scoring, we all knew what was going to happen.  We have seen it constantly this year.

for about five years now, this team has needed offense, and they never do anything about it, and the offense they did get is either injured, or getting old.

maybe instead of always trying to get the very best available and always being disappointed, maybe we could try a new direction.  Doesnt do any good to go and get Cease and then score no runs for him.

last year at about the same time, I remember saying this  team is so bad even I cant watch anymore.  I kept watching, but I am not sure that getting all our players back will make a difference.  Hope I am wrong.

Our offense was top shelf last season, it's the RISP, same thing that plagued them last season through the first 6 weeks. I think and believe you're wrong, are we forgetting injuries, regression should be Imminent, hope I'm right. 😜

Obviously that would happen once his toe heals up. Do you ever assume common sense when reacting to messages or do you expect people to expand on every post like its being graded by a professor...

His numbers arent justifying him being a full time DH.  If he doesnt turn it around then being able to go after a DH bat could be the easier method to improve this pathetic offense.  Status quo can only last for so long...

I was pretty confident he wouldn’t come close to repeating 2025, but I thought he’d at least be somewhat useful.

Seems more like 2025 was a final dead cat bounce. Santander will be primary DH in 2027
