Blue Jays Select Austin Voth, Joe Mantiply

April 5th, 2026 at 11:03am CST • By Nick Deeds

The Blue Jays have selected the contracts of right-hander Austin Voth and left-hander Joe Mantiply. Right-hander Lazaro Estrada and left-hander Brendon Little were optioned to the minors to make room for the pair on the active roster, while right-hander Cody Ponce and outfielder Anthony Santander were moved to the 60-day injured list.

I know it's only Sunday April 5th, but this feels like a must-win game.

Need to feel good and have some confidence heading into the Dodgers series this week. Don't want to come back to Toronto being swept in Chicago.

Was looking forward for Little to give up 450 foot homers to Otani, Freeman and Tucker all left handed bats...Oh well.....

This some next level cuck behaviour.

Spectacular play that nobody could see until a replay. Camera guy was looking at LF.

Murakami looks amazing man.  Crazy how no team wanted to give him a long term deal.  People's computing didnt compute.

In the long run it will work out better for him.

He wasn’t a fit for the Jays due to being a 1B/DH, but yeah crazy that no other competitive team wanted him

Lauer wake tf up, we need innings today

Probably not 100% after the cold/flu whatever he had.

Minimal damage.  The bats need to win one today.
