jaysthebest Verified Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 JS loves to put Little and Hoffman in the high-leverage situation lol.

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Way too many people overconfident coming into this one when junk ballers tend to be the Jays' kryptonite.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 This offense is just infuriating today, the MonStars zapped our mojo.
Doc Verified Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 The bats are world beaters against the Yankees. They still haven't proven they can hit mediocre pitching though lol.

HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Barger takes a walk though one of those should have been a strike.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 They needed to replace Lukes in the 3rd inning of a 1 run game, where they clearly need offense, but choose to put in Straw instead of DS. Then JS can’t wait to pull Gausman but waits to take him out when Polanco (150 wRC+ against LHP) is up and brings in Little (a LHP) to face him. This series is almost a continuation of 2022 so far. Really need to bats to get going. Whatever magic formula JS has against the Yankees clearly does not work against Seattle. THANOS 1

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Kirk really hasn’t done anything since game 1 of the ALDS Funky 1
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Damn too bad. Still don't understand taking out your Ace when it was obvious he still had gas in the tank. JS was better off letting him go through the lineup through number 9 and then going to the bullpen for the top of the order whenever they came back around. Managing scared might cost the Jays this game. Need the bats to wake up. Funky 1

Some get hot, some get cold. It's a big problem when they all go cold at the same time (Vladdy, Varsho and Kirk)
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Mariners are always tough on bluejays
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Straw playing over DS is a joke in a game Jays needs runs
416BlueJs Verified Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Too overhyped that Jays had this game easy. Just like Yanks in game 4. Letdown.
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 JS got outmanaged by Seattle. He would've pulled Miller after that ball four. 416BlueJs 1

The problem is that JS believe Springer is a worse outfielder than Santander who just returned from shoulder injury. So this prevented JS to add Schneider to LF. Will have been better have Santander DH, Schneider 2B, Barger RF, Springer LF, Clement 3B

You need to score more runs than the other team to win
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Well f***. We need shut down the rest of the way to have a chance.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 For a minute there I thought Varsho was actually going to run straight up the wall after that
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Varland f***s around too much. Nibble nibble, just use your stuff.
