Yes if he want sign elsewhere. But if he have agreement for contract extension with the Jays,  it's easier to take risk for the team, when knowing u will sign contract extension here.

I find Sherzer is a bit too high on himself, thinks he’s who he was years ago, when he’s clearly not, that’s 2 times he’s throwing a fit about being taken out earlier than he wanted when he’s giving up a lot of runs lol

I would have told him f*** off and that he was coming out of the bullpen once we traded for Bieber and he was healthy to go. 

Not hindsight either, I mentioned it many times because he was too injury prone/unreliable at his age.

They have completed f***ed up the rotation/bullpen ever since not having enough balls to make the right decision once Bieber was healthy.
