Stieb was actually 9th inning 2 outs 2 strikes in back to back games in 88 and lost no hitters. In 89 he lost a perfect game with 2 outs in the inning. He lost a no hitter in the 9th in 85. He finally got the Jays only no hitter in 1990.

I know they'd never do this, but with a guy like Hill, why not move up in the batters box, its not like he's ever gonna blow it past you. More up and catch that curve way out front before it breaks off the plate.

I mean, the history of the franchise, all the moments good and bad.....all of that stuff still happened. Whether they play in the current shithole or not. Eventually ya just have to let go of a substandard stadium, regardless of how historic it is.

 

One thing I give Boston though, Yawkey way is a f***ing amazing place both before and after a game.
