G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Nice frame on strike three Kirk. Yeah that was a little generous
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 that's frame job Kirk behind the plate
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Good job by Gausman escaping the jam.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 f*** off Vladdy at the very least work the pitcher and maybe get a walk out of it because the bat is total garbage
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 guess we're lucky to miss seeing Paxton and Yamo
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Author Posted April 28, 2024 f*** off Vladdy They should make a shirt with this quote and give it out to the first 15K in attendance on Canada Day. #marketing
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 s*** that pitch was in a terrible spot.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 with no runners on in that lineup - will take that
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Author Posted April 28, 2024 Can't make mistakes to the top of this Dodgers order.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Can't make mistakes to the top of this Dodgers order. might have pitched him differently with runners on but yea the lineup can do some damage
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 this is similar to facing Cimber in his prime
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 disagree with taking off the bunt then adding it again
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 f*** off with the bunting s***
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Think about it for a second and it should make sense. The offense struggled to the point where the team felt it was necessary to employ extreme strategies in an attempt to limit the Twins ability to score runs. But that's the issue I'm calling out. It's a flawed strategy where you are taking out your best available pitcher who looked like your best pitcher on that day for someone worse just 3 innings into a game. Offense being poor should have no baring on this. It's just an organization outsmarting themselves.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 f*** off with the bunting s*** it's part of his game though, actually one of his goals last season was bunting for base hits. No idea what happened to that....

max silver Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Nice catch Schneider He's a surprisingly solid defender in left field.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 He's a surprisingly solid defender in left field. He seems fine there yes
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Well in the end they scored zero runs so the early pull didn't end up mattering. 2 separate issues as I initially stated. I obviously agree that our offense as a whole is a bigger issue than the use of our starting pitching.
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Babe has been playing some very average/passable left field. He doesn't have great range but he's making the catches on the balls he gets to.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Gausman is a friggin stud man. Dude is underpaid for what he provides.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 I'd start the 8th with Gausman.
