BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Bo has been pretty dam consistent hacking away to a 126 wRC+ for his career. I won't be surprised at all if he puts up another similar season.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Chad Green for the save? Nervous.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Lift Kirk please. Shouldn't Kirk be pinch ran for in this spot?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Clement with more solid contact He plays great defense and puts the bat on the ball I like it
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Lift Kirk please. That's easier said than done
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Lift Kirk please. Shouldn't Kirk be pinch ran for in this spot? Our bench is Vogelbach and the other catcher. I'm sure Serven is a bit faster but it's not really worth emptying out the bench any further in case of emergency.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 He plays great defense and puts the bat on the ball I like it He at the very least should get half the playing time between him and Biggio, plus a start or two a week elsewhere.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Please Varsho, just a little 400 foot HR to give me some hope.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Our bench is Vogelbach and the other catcher. I'm sure Serven is a bit faster but it's not really worth emptying out the bench any further in case of emergency. Yeah I guess. This is where a player like Lukes is more valuable imo over Vogelbach. His power doesn't warrant a 26 man spot imo, he literally does nothing else.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Author Posted April 5, 2024 Nice work, Serven in to run, nice.
204Jays Verified Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I dont know much about baseball, but why not put the runner in while Kirk is at first?

His power doesn't warrant a 26 man spot imo, he literally does nothing else. If we get around to it he could pinch hit for Guerrero and have Turner move into 1B after.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Lift Kirk please. Shouldn't Kirk be pinch ran for in this spot? The options are Serven and Vogelbach. So option 1 is another catcher who probably doesn't provide much difference in speed, and option 2 is the only athlete on earth that might be slower than Kirk. Really don't understand the point of Vogelbach being on this roster if he's playing 1 game in 8 days. Just put Lukes in that spot you at least have a pinch runner.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 You know you're slow when you get pinch run for by a catcher...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Yeah I guess. This is where a player like Lukes is more valuable imo over Vogelbach. His power doesn't warrant a 26 man spot imo, he literally does nothing else. You need to follow me on the Cam Eden hype train.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I dont know much about baseball, but why not put the runner in while Kirk is at first? I guess because Serven is not "score from first base on a double" fast But he is "score from second on a single" fast while Kirk is not lmao.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Author Posted April 5, 2024 I dont know much about baseball, but why not put the runner in while Kirk is at first? He got in scoring position with 1 away, it was the time to do it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 ELITE baserunner Brian Serven, what a call from John Schneider.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I dont know much about baseball, but why not put the runner in while Kirk is at first? not in scoring postion
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 OK now a single or sac fly gets an insurance run HUGE
