You simply can't afford to go down 2 runs with Hader coming in. It was a gutsy call.

I applaud John Schneider for making the gutsy calls this inning to keep it to a 1 run game. The offense is already scuffling and with Hader coming in, keeping it at 1 just gives them enough of a chance. Different story with a 2 run game.
