infinitebook Verified Member Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Blue Jays just need to go 10-9 to win 90 games. That's pretty conservative. However if they lose that series to the Rangers the season is most likely over. Losing 3/4 it would require either Seattle or Houston to also falter during that strech but it seems unlikely. Splitting with Texas at the minimum is paramount. Winning that series pretty much ends their season as well. That 2 game swing would just be extremely tough to make up. Sweeping either way ends the other teams Season for sure. To build on your point, if Toronto wins they take the season series too, so it is effectively a 3 game swing

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Big sweep by the Jays this weekend! Gotta like their chances! They control their own destiny!
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 He’s one of the best in the game but he hasn’t been sharp these past few weeks He plays with fire way too often . Not confident in him at all especially in the playoffs.
Nursehoneybadger Verified Member Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Watching the rays game today the stat came up they bat 180 with empty bases and 280 with runners on. They are a bad team. It will even out, likely by our series. They had pedophiles on their team. They also had a guy who stole secrets from the jays. They think they are too good to give out bad contracts like every other team. Bad team. Bad people.

Or some other group of games like their last 11 Sunday games or last 23 games against AL wildcard teams. I had a couple games going.
