I've been impressed with Clement so far at the plate and in the field defensively. I find myself wondering how much better off the team would have been giving him a shot to man short during Bo's initial absence vs seeing DeJong strike out half of the time at the plate. I'm fully on board with Espinal being the odd man out once Bo is ready to come back as Clement appears to have a lot more to offer vs this season's version on Espinal who has been a disaster at the plate and in the field.

Strange decision making. Refuse to bring some guys up and sparse with playing time if they do.

 

Then deal for DeJong when Bo went down. Then DFA him instead of using Espy options.

 

Then start to bring up the farm more and play them. I'm all for it and have realistic expectations. There is little to lose, but its been a weird evolution.

 

At this point who cares if we W though.
