I like him and his arm. He battles. I never liked the hype or some of the cockiness. I couldn’t watch the Hazel Mae series on him. I mean I want him to do well for himself, his Mom and the team 100%, but too much hype for my liking. Over time it rubs a lot of people wrong. Remember how awesome 2015 was with Stro coming back and pitching well when few thought he could? “Wolverine”. Eventually a lot of people went sour on all the hype. Especially when he didn’t deliver on the bump.

Having a chip on your shoulder works when the your talent level is much higher than your hype. When it's the opposite, it no longer makes sense and wears thin.

This. I cant stand arrogance, cockiness etc. Manoah is getting a taste of humble pie. He should focus on pitching and STFU. It was the same with Stroman. Guy was an arrogant drama queen who thought the world revolved around him.

Anyone doubting that Manoah is gonna get f***ing blasted by the Yankees next weekend? I have like 0 confidence in him at this point

I have almost 100% confidence he's headed for the IL

Looks like we've got "Good Richards" today. Wish he could do this every time.

Yeah, I've always said this, if he doesn't have the good stuff, he's a quick yank. When he's on he looks incredible.

this game started with Manoah hitting Yandi Diaz because Yandi asked the ump to verify Manoah's ball, the Rays got 3 runs in the first inning, so far enough to win this game, did we fail at the mental game today?
