BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 3 game series on this place. Oh boy
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Ready for the playoffs I see haha
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 He's probably tipping again considering they are on everything and he just cannot make adjustments whatsoever on the fly.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 You really can’t give Berrios a start in that wildcard series. There’s like 50% chance he looks like he does tonight
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 wow when berrios is bad hes very bad. He has to be tipping pitches or something. They're not taking normal looking swings.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Let’s see if the Jays have the balls to start Stripling in game 3 of the WC series.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Oh boy this Tampa pitcher is tough
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Not a single swinging strike. It’s batting practice for them lol. Exactly. Not 1. Seeing it all, all the way. They aren't even checking. That's what pisses me off so much about no W last night - such a winnable game.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 You have to pitch the Rays up in the zone a lot with heat, preferably in. Maybe Walker should have watched how the Astros man handled the Rays.
harvey16 Verified Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Well looks like we get the Trash Berrios tonight? Never seen a pitcher that can K 14 guys in one start and then can't miss a bat the next. He's so inconsistent. Definitely should not be starting in the WC series.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Let’s see if the Jays have the balls to start Stripling in game 3 of the WC series. I don’t really think it takes balls at all, just brains. Berrios has an ERA over 5 for shits sake
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 27 innings against the Stros....Rays score 2 runs. 1 inning vs Jays....................Rays score 3 runs. I hate the Trop.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Let’s see if the Jays have the balls to start Stripling in game 3 of the WC series. What, and disrespect Ross' prize acquisition? Berrios will start game 3 unless he's hurt, we're in trouble.
PhillyBlueJay Verified Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Bad bad bad f***ing fundamentals!!! Jays are not a playoff team, from what I witnessed last night and already today the Jays have too many non baseball minded players, Teo, Biggio, Menoah, Bo, Vladdy, all cannot make immediate reactive decisions. Too many in-game bad throws , no cut-off man over and over, Menoah shaking off catcher all the time, Bo improper positioning and trying to be too flashy… Teo poor outfield coverage. Whether the Jays make playoffs or not. they do not have grit, execution, and pure in-game fundamentals!

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 That’s if they even get a wild card spot. The way they’re pitching lately it might be Mariners, Rays and Orioles. Lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 s*** Merrifield does something!! This game is a barn burner so far
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 lmao a Merrifield homer.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 jays actually hitting yarbrough at the trop? am I dreaming
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Imagine if Whit goes on a tear and we get 2020 Merriefield.

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Not so s*** Merrifield?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Vlad recovery in what was looking like a brutal AB. Nice. Let's go Bo!
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 We're finally handling this shitballer.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 No but I’m 42 and have been watching the Jays since 1988 so just realistic. You think it’s realistic the Orioles overcome a 6.5 game deficit with 2 weeks left??
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Nice ump lol Berrios got the K there looking. No call. Brutal. And some people say we need to get rid of the K box - as if that's the issue. Then he gets a pitch 4 inches away.
