Why the hell would he try to stretch that for a triple with them having a hard time scoring runs?

 

Teo has really low baseball iq. He was in scoring position, should have stopped at second. Nothing gained by trying to stretch to a triple.

Jano looks huge behind the plate compared to Kirk/Moreno.

 

I can't remember the last time we had the embarrassment of riches behind the dish... Moreno's outstanding back there.

It is a good call but Vlad hasn't looked comfortable at the plate; so probably wasn't the smart call.
