Moreno is probably first in line for a trade at the deadline. Prospects don’t always pan out so the fact that Jansen and Kirk are both producing in the major leagues means you probably want to keep them. Unless you think Kirk or Jansen are a mirage and their value won’t ever be higher.

I'm leaning towards this opinion but I think we need to give Jansen at bare minimum to the end of the trade deadline to see if he has actually unlocked his bat at the MLB level. The only reason I'd give a player a three year pass is to catchers who are focusing mainly on learning the staff and how to call games and defend at this level. Sometimes it takes time for a catcher to finally feel comfortable defensively before the bat comes around.

Yeah as I said, I assume nothing is happening to trade deadline anyway. They’ll probably look hard at the logjam at that point. I don’t like to see Jays fail, I’m positive about most named Smallgio, but I’m not joining the fapping party over this sss. I think it’ll all boomerang soon enough
