Oh please. That is one play in the second damn game of the year. If it worked like you think it works, he would have been benched for his stupid bobble yesterday. I think after the All Star game, the platoon will die. And that one play made in the second game of the season will not be a decided factor. Good grief.

We have seen many examples of early season bobbles. Chapman also botched a Double Play yesterday but nobody is talking about that. He was more than solid at Second Base in 2020.

He was clearly uncomfortable at Third Base last season. He was more than fine at Second Base in 2020 and has also been solid when put in the Outfield. Lets not jump down a guy’s throat 2 games in. That’s the point.
