HoldenC Verified Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Hey everyone, I apologize if this is not allowed, I'm new to this site, I was just looking to sell tickets to the Jays vs Twins game on September 18th, 2021 at 3:07pm. I bought them for my girlfriend's birthday but I accidentally bought tickets for the Saturday game, rather than the Friday game (her birthday is tomorrow, the 12th, I'm not that bad lol). I'm just looking to get back what I paid which was $439.48 for Field Level Infield I - 116 R Row 2 Seat 8,7 If anyone is interested let me know. I swear this is legit and not a scam, I'm just an idiot lmao.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Holy Cow, that's what field level seats cost? lol... did it double in price?
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Holy Cow, that's what field level seats cost? lol... did it double in price? I'm guessing he bought them secondhand. I don't think that's what those seats cost at face value.
HoldenC Verified Member Posted September 11, 2021 Author Posted September 11, 2021 Unfortunately yea. They're not exactly cheap at the moment. I was okay with splurging for her birthday... Then I blew it lol. Kinda good for field tickets considering I saw some 200 levels going for $120 a ticket.

Yea, I got them off StubHub. Couldn't get two together on Ticketmaster. It was about $40-$50 more than face I believe. EDIT: Just checked Ticketmaster. This was wrong information lol. About $100 more unfortunately.

I StubHubbed two Premium Dugout tickets for me and my wife at the first Jays game back in Toronto and it cost like $950 for both. Probably not a good decision but I was excited and felt it was a once or twice in a lifetime chance to see the Jays back after so many days (I say twice because there's a small chance it happens again if they vacate the dome for renovations/rebuilding).

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 All stadiums are different obviously but Yankee game I just went to I sat 1st row of section behind expensive seats and they’re $300 face value and got them $125/each plus fees few days before. Considered a last second Baltimore trip today for the doubleheader but my son didn’t want to go. 1st from field behind dugout Jays side I saw $70 each, less than face. Going to Tampa next week and picked up seats 1st row behind dugout for $100 face

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Nice deals, bro. Is your son not feeling well? lol 18yo. You know how that is. Prob better plans than hanging with his dad lol. We’ll see the Wed afternoon game in Tampa though next week Yeah last night saw front row $70 for the DH, sweet deal
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Yankees stadium has to be like that with tickets bc of supply/demand. They’re trying to sell their own tickets for the same price point per-Covid and there’s no demand for that. So people with season seats aren’t going to get anywhere near that I usually avoided Yankee stadium as I like good seats as my eyes suck and I don’t wear glasses. But they’re (or were) always like $300-500 even for good seats right behind the field ones

Yeah, man. s*** does fly by. Being a good dad was the only thing I cared about enough to be good at lol. I enjoy hearing the stories here about bringing their little guy to the first game and all that. Brings back good times
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Lots of good dads here... don't sweat it
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Lots of good dads here... don't sweat it Would’ve been a sweet ass game to see! My best memory from a game ending is a Brett Lawrie walk off, his rookie year maybe? Vs Texas in extras if I remember right. In Toronto. He threw off his helmet like 30ft in the air rounding third. Little did he know that was going to be the highlight of his career lol
