Terrible pitch call

It was a good pitch call. Two seamer intended to start inside and run back over the inside corner. He just didn't command it and it leaked right over the middle of the plate.

Manoah needs to use his four seamer more.

Always got annoyed with Stroman when he would use nothing but his two seamer and batters would figure it out.

I mean it was supposed to be inside and Manoah threw it dead middle

Yes. Every inside fastball called to a lefty tonight has done that. Why was that going to be different

Wow, so you all aren't watching tonight I guess

Now you use Grichuk to PH with the bases empty, a whole twi innings later and only in the sixth. Charlie is one of a kind, it's embarrassing.

I'm with Buck there. Manoah should be zoned in on his game, not clowning around in the dugout like it's an off day for him.

I mean, whenever players act different (in various sports), it always gets thrown back at them when they struggle, even when its the same behaviour they had when they succeeded. At the end of the day people are different, if Alek feels more comfortable being loose and joking around people should leave him be.

That's how he deals with pressure obviously - by being outgoing. It's not that uncommon. Not everybody needs to turn into a statue of Roy Halladay when they are pitching.
