I mean, they've been very similar value wise as hitters over their careers, and Biggio's been better this season (not by a lot...) so it's not really an egregious mistake like batting Panik ahead of anyone, or even at all...

Gurriel is a lot better than his numbers indicate this year. Gurriel's talents are more suited for run producing situations where Biggio is obviously more comfortable as a table setter.

I mean, Biggio has his best numbers as a leadoff hitter, but he's not going to hit there with this roster, so it's not bad to have a high OBP guy anywhere in the lineup really.
