Good comeback win...capitalized on blunders from the Sox. Going forward, I trust only Romano and Castro out of the pen. Dolis, Chatwood and Mayza need to show more. I don't have much of an opinion on Payamps yet.

While I don't mind the 3-0 green light most of the time, Montoyo should have given Teo the take sign in that situation. The pitcher just walked Vladdy and fell behind 3-0 to Teo. A walk was a run and Teo would have gotten another fastball on 3-1 anyway. If the result was a DP (which it should have) and we lose the game, there would have been serious criticism of Charlie deciding to give the green light with a pitcher who couldn't find the strike zone.

I mean he's clearly just pressing a bit right now. Probably thinking that a 3-0 cookie might help him get out of a mini-slump. When you're pressing and guys are throwing 96-97, then a low and away fastball probably looks center cut.

I understand what you meant, on a 3-0 pitch you're looking to key hole your pitch and drive it, not flail away at that pitch he swung at. Easy Peasy...
