bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 What do we think is going on with Grichuk, walk rate identical strike outs down a little bit. Fly balls up, GB down (heh) and going up the middle way more so far this season.

He's always working hard and probably heard the rumours after signing Springer that he's expendable. Motivated

He's adjusted and has now committed on letting the ball travel more resulting in balls being hit up the middle and the other way. He seems to have done this without sacrificing any power, amazing.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 Dumbtoya had Tellez hitting fifth, ahead of Grichuk last night. Imagine that.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 Teo needs to catch that, it was a foot and a half off the ground.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 Matz at only 41 pitches after 3 innings. Could have been 36 if Teo catches the fly ball.
