I would say this favors us since Matz and Ray are both good, and our bullpen is kinda weak right now. The fact that we only have to play 7 innings each SHOULD mean we won’t see more than 2-3 relievers tomorrow

 

Charlie simply cannot sleep well at night without activating the bullpen.

I know this sounds premature, but if Biggio has a decent year typically for him offensively, should Shatkins entertain possibly moving him in a package for an established solid young pitcher?

Biggio could be on the brink of finding himself in a platoon with Espinal. I think we're going to at least start to see him being replaced at third defensively in small late leads.

Than what? You open a hole in the roster, in the infield. Jays should stick to buying pitchers in FA.

Yeah but we got some young infielders ready to make some noise after this season. I guess we'll have a better idea in a few months to see their progression in the minors.

No way, a late inning defensive replacement sure, with the odd start. Or he gets optioned back to the alternate site after today.
