Apparently he lost 15 pounds in the off-season. It seems to have done a lot to his strength. He wasn’t a good hitter before but he could run into one every once in awhile. Seems his power has been zapped. Everything beaten into the dirt, lazy popups, or just flat out missing the ball because his swing is so slow. He genuinely looks like he has a tough time getting the bat around.
