He didn't look all that good in ST, but he was flippin' dominant up until he got hurt. I wouldn't count em out.

I would flip Teo and Vladito, also maybe Tellez and Grichuk. Stacked man, can't really complain at any order 7-9.

FYI its Semien, not Simien. Not sure why Buck/Dan keep saying Simien... especially when you consider the potential racist connotations

Teo and Vladdy will be flipped in the order very soon. I'd prefer Grichuk batting ninth due to the speed and base running factor he can provide for the top of the line up, unless Tellez falls off the face of the earth. The Semien and Gurriel situation will work itself out but I see Gurriel prevailing and will eventually be batting third with Semien batting sixth.

That's what I initially thought and the fact that Shulman and Buck pronouncing it Sim-ien definitely messed me up.

Why do you say that?

It's looking like Vladdy will breakout this year, his weight loss and overall dedication on both sides of the ball will prevail. He looks f***ing dangerous so far this spring and his at bats versus Cole were dominant. Everybody knows the talent is there, so I think he'll stay consistent.

Everyone pound the O8.5 in this game RIGHT NOW. lock of the year folks!

I think you're right. It should go over before both starters leave the game. There's also the fact that hitters aren't where they should be yet and the cool weather. Game time temperatures will be 8°C (feels like 6°) with it reaching 11° by 3pm. At least it will be a bright sunny day.

Oh, you mean Montoyo's lineup, or the one you posted? Haha... I'm confused, I want Vlad batting clean-up! FTR

I would prefer Vladdy batting third, more ABs for him.

1. Marcus Semien ® 2B

2. Bo Bichette ® SS

3. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ® 1B

4. Teoscar Hernandez ® RF

5. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. ® LF

6. Randal Grichuk ® CF

7. Cavan Biggio (L) 3B

8. Rowdy Tellez (L) DH

9. Danny Jansen ® C

Buntoyo going with same lineup as opening day.

I agree with Vladdy batting clean up and Teo fifth.

It bodes well for the Yankees contract negotiations with Clint Frazier that he's apparently never heard of money before.

It's Montoyo proof, especially when Springer is back

I hope he's not expecting more than 120 innings out of him at BEST

I think Vlad should be batting 3rd with Bo at 2nd. Vlad is too fast for a prototypical clean up hitter this year ;)

Wow Merryweather deliberately threw the slider into the dirt to remove the immaculate inning possibility so he can focus on getting Torres out, per his pre-game interview with Hazel.
