Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 danny Jansen entered the night with a wRC+ of 70 and ended the night with a wRC+ of 98. Talk about a big night! Maybe having some competition is good for him.

Ray Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I know it was low leverage, but I thought Stripling looked fantastic. He was locating well and his secondaries looked incredibly sharp. If Robbie Ray can give you 4 innings and Stripling pitches like he did, that's looking like a good option for Game 3 after Ryu and Walker.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 explain, scrubs? I believe TLC covered that in a song/video. Google it

Dokken Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 explain, scrubs? right now the scrubs are obviously Chase Anderson and Tanner Diesel Roark. Shoemaker, like Merryweather and Tulo, is made of wet tissue paper. I really wish the guy could stay off the DL long enough to show what he can still do. But, I think another good outing this weekend guarantees him a role in game 3, and hopefully beyond. Also, we can hope the (currently) very inconsistent Stripling and Ray can also rise to occasion if it is presented to them. I know hope is not a strategy, but that is all we have beyond Ryu...... WOW, what a difference a week can make. The Jays have already guaranteed a split of this 4 game set, and Ryu is going on Thursday. Them city slickers keep comin' up here to Upstate NY and getting their nose bloodied - man that is so sweet, you have no idea!!
