That’s a good deal, basically free for 6 months.

 

There’s a lot of promotions but they tend to be @ 30% off for an annual sub.

This deal aside, if you are poor you can game the Athletic annually and just sign up during the Christmas / Boxing week sale every year. It's 70% off I think.

 

I think the site is worth it even at full price. One of the only online subscriptions I pay.
