Danny Jansen is now 162 games into his MLB career, and has a .207/.294/.360 line (76 OPS+) to show for it. Take out his 31-game cameo in 2018 and that plummets to .200/.283/.346 (68 OPS+). He was touted as a bat-first catcher. It'd be real nice if he, y'know, started hitting.

Awesome win for the boys, I never would have guessed that they would be playing and winning a bunch of close games based on the strength of their pitching, I expected more of a slugfest going on each night instead.

more like the bullpen gave Ryu the 'support' that the offense 'barely managed' after he delivered 6 solid innings, only giving up 1 run. At 3 and 1, he could easily be 6 and 1 with better run and bullpen support.

 

 

P.S. : when is Giles coming back !!?? REALLY uncomfortable seeing Anthony Bass go out for the save with a 1 run lead.
