If his arm holds up, I hope they keep him in the rotation. He might be a better reliever long term, but with all the injuries, let's see what he's got in a starting role. As many innings as possible from him, Kay, and Hatch for the rest of the season is ideal.

That's alright. As long as we stick to the GDT uninterrupted rule we should be ok. Braves leading the Yanks 4-0 right now, beating up on Cole as Anderson's throwing a gem. Can't use the term as I don't want to jinx Anderson & our chances of catching up in the division.

I'd like to see this as well, he looks to have a good quality starter repertoire, but he hasn't worked a starters workload since 2017. I sort of wonder if a Chad Green/Andrew Miller fireman type of role might be a good use of his skills.

 

Multi inning reliever would be ideal, he has too much of an injury history as does Borucki and now likely Thornton, TJS on deck after he see's Dr. Andrews on Monday. Should be a great role for all 3 of them.
