Teoscar has more than 350 PA's dating back to his recall from AAA last season where he's OPS'ing over .900 in the majors. Not exactly a small sample. I don't know how you justify placing a guy like that low in the order when Tellez is batting 4th.

Please, nobody complain about Teoscar hitting 8th. He is probably not in their top 7 projected hitters. Lineup decisions based on who is "hot" are problematic.

If the Jays bats can’t get going against Weber and Godley I’m gonna start getting worried. Considering they faced both of them like 2 weeks ago should help you would think. I prefer Biggio leading off though I like that one lineup change. Bo seems perfect in the 2-hole for me with your best one base guy getting on infront of him.

His hot streak goes back to last July though. I like Rowdy as a hitter and I think he can turn it around, but hitting him or shaw ahead of Teoscar is a head scratcher.

In a short season where you need to win in a hurry you need to handle hot and cold steaks differently. I don’t think you hit a Superstar 8th or 9th. But nothing wrong with putting a hot hitter higher in the lineup. Especially when your lineup sucks. Teo should be hitting in the top 5 regardless. Like you can’t put the only guy currently providing offense in the 8th slot lol.
