Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 I'm going to take Wall. Goldbull is up!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 I'm going to take Wall. Goldbull is up! Man, I know he's fully your type of player, but can you really justify rostering him throughout the entire year while he's injured and then use one of six keeper spots on him? I was assuming Wall would go undrafted and would be picked up next waiver draft.

I was assuming Wall would go undrafted and would be picked up next waiver draft. He will also be 30 going into next season after not playing games in nearly two years. Definitely bust potential here but the rest of Abom's core is locked down so if anyone was going to do it, makes sense for it to be him. Maybe Wall recovers really well and we get positive updates in March. I agree though I wasn't expecting him this early. Would make more sense if it was keep 10.

I'm sure one of my young players will bust. If not, nothing lost. He may not be the only one I do this with either.

You very likely won't see him on the court this season, given that the Wizards applied for a Disabled Player Exception to get out from paying his contract this year, or at least the cap hit of it. I just think you could have gotten him at literally any other round, if not during the season itself. He's no Kevin Durant.

It doesn't prevent him from returning near the end of the season if he's healthy enough by then. I possibly could have gotten him later, but I see him as one of the last potentially keeper-worthy guys. That's what I'm focusing on, rather than stats this year.
GoldBull Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Sorry for the delay, folks. A hectic day at work. I'll try Larry Nance Jr.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 BTS you were asking about Russell Westbrook's declining shooting efficiency, well there's an interesting segment on it in today's podcast of The Lowe Post. Starts around the 38:00 mark.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I'll go with VanVleet
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I'll go with VanVleet I'm surprised he lasted this far with a lot of people in this league not being hardcore fans and the Raps having just won. Solid pick, with Lowry gaining in age and his reoccurring injuries VanVleet's minutes can only go up.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I took Scary Terry even though I’m not really a fan
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I took Scary Terry even though I’m not really a fan The only thing scary is that FG%! Just teasing he could be a nice breakout candidate finally getting minutes
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I'd be pretty scared of a guy the Hornets were willing to overpay for while basically outbidding themselves.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 Connor you’re back up.
