Because people get carried away. I'm glad this FO doesn't seem to give a s*** about fan opinion, but some do and I'd hate being stuck with Vlad at third. One thing that play did show was a nice pick on the short hop. You know which position has to do that all the time?

 

The most underrated player in baseball is on the market this winter and he's a dream signing. Him or JD. Plus, unbridled homerism is generally very annoying and I will be a killjoy wherever it occurs.

His career turnaround has been amazing to watch. This guy will be an easy first ballot HOF and at one point he was starting to look Felix Hernandez-y before Kate Upton saved his career.
