gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Fisher got lucky by being tentative rounding second base. So far being tentative has been an obvious weakness in his game.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Author Posted August 25, 2019 It looks like the hitters are not picking up the ball well out of Gonzo's hand
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Lol I like how Fisher was making the right play by staying at second to not risk the close play at third and Luis f***ing Rivera told him to go for it anyway. Luckily for him Fisher's speed is electric when he really gets going and the Mariners botched the play. In all fairness, Fisher should have picked up Rivera a lot sooner.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Some really bad ABs today, missing a lot of hittable pitches.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Fisher got lucky by being tentative rounding second base. So far being tentative has been an obvious weakness in his game. He was rightfully being conservative and wanted to stay at second but Luis Rivera was over aggressive with the send. He should have been out because there was no reason to risk it with his speed.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Man on third with no out and no runs against this soft tosser?

That shouldn't have been risked in the first place though, I agree.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Gonzales is carvin' em up. Jays seem to have a lot of problems with the crafty finesse guys.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Man, I wish Drury can turn out to be an average hitter.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 It's going to be fun when Gurriel gets back in the line up.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Cavan Lets a lot of hangers go without swinging. He might be better off being a bit more aggressive.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 It's incredible how every pitcher seems to get the magical ability to throw pitches on the black when they face Vladdy. Its countered by Bo getting every pitch down the middle. 1-2 86 down the pipe lmao
