So I just caught a shot of Buntoyo on camera walking onto the field after the final out was recorded. He looks like he is is worried or something (like he is trying not to shart his pants). I really think there is a reason this guy never got the nod to manage an MLB team before. Seems the Jays picked a stiff, just because he is Latino (hope I am wrong but not much evidence so far to indicate otherwise).

True, but drafts are a longshot crap-shoot. Also, who knows how much actual control that stooge had on the actual draft picks. I tend to think he is mostly just Shapiro's yes-man. This is Shapiro's show for better (hopefully) or worse

wk680's in a massive tailspin. He probably needs a little break from baseball as watching a rebuilding team is clearly too much for him to handle. He's making some incredibly short sighted judgments, based almost solely on assumptions (instead of facts). I think it is just the frustration of seeing this team the last few weeks after they had gone on that nice little role to get to .500, especially the frustratingly pitiful offense against numerous shitballers. I think now that the controversy around Vlad sitting out on the holiday Monday might have something to do with the 'displeased' look I saw on Montono's face following Tuesday's big win. I don't blame him for being a little salty over getting mixed up in that - saw an article on Sportsnet where Atkins admits he should have mentioned to Montoyo about the Victoria Day matinee game and making lineup considerations accordingly.
