This was a good episode, had lots of laughs.

I think Kawhi would be a stud corner infielder with those large mitts, not sure you want a 6-8 guy running ham at center or catching.

Also on point with all those DeRozan comments.

FMK discussion was hilarious, interesting stuff from JPA as well.

Yeah, just gotta figure out this week because of the Raptors game, lol. 3 of us are Ontario, 2 are Alberta so we normally record around 9pm but obviously since this isn't a job, we all want to watch the game. Might go Wednesday which probably means no Andrew but hopefully with Nick.

Good episode. I'll download the software or whatever it is that I have to do just in case I get the opportunity to be on again.

 

Just to clear a few things up on the JPA and Romero stuff. Most of it was not in the private conversations in the car but on stage during their question and answer. The Zaun stuff Boxy got word for word correct. Romero was the one that told the story that he would have breakfast with JPA for all of his starts and would have to ask if he was sober. Didn't specifically say that Lawrie was with him but it's assumed. He did say that he got lessons (didn't say who from) on Advanced stats when applying for Spanish radio for the Rays, just in case he got asked any questions about it. Was really open and cool with everyone. Romero stayed at his table throughout the auction whereas JPA visited all 30 tables at the fundraiser. Romero wants to break into the media now, he's got the podcast with Beto Duran now and is calling 6 games for the Vancouver Canadians this year.

 

The funny thing is that they know the Jays are Canada's team but they don't realize that the rest of the country hates Toronto as a city. They both raved so much about how beautiful Toronto is. That wasn't the way to win over Swift Current Saskatchewan.

For the record: We always appreciate feedback, good or bad. Having acknowledged that, it makes me happy to hear that you enjoyed this one.

 

We will be recording tomorrow due to the Raps game tonight. Scheduling conflicts will surely happen from time to time, but I don't see why we won't be back to a regular recording schedule going forward.

 

Also, I just wanted to thank you for the episode bookmarks. That's something I had always planned to do regularly but found I usually didn't have the time (or maybe the drive) to do every week. They exist for a few episodes, but not most.
