lol... STOP!!!

It's actually not as laughable as I would have thought, although it is most definitely wrong. When you take their primary fastball type (which is what they SHOULD be throwing most of), it's 97 wRC+ for Syndergaard and 104 for Sanchez. Sanchez HAS actually given up a lower wRC+ for the curveball in his career (34 to 63). Their changeups are identical. The difference is really Sanchez having to throw the four seamer more because of his finger issues (which has been terrible), and Syndergaard having a very good slider. I mean, it's a very important difference, but it's also pretty interesting comparing them if you look deeper into the numbers.

f***tard coach taking AB's away from king Vlad.. smh

I bet if Vladdy was hit on the hand and was out for the year, you'd be cursing the coach for having him in there in a 10-2 game.

I like how no one brings up the fact that Montoyo put the struggling Guerrero in the 2 hole and he's been much better since. It's just easier to blame everything on the manager of course.

You believe in protection? I believe in timing/adjustment. Just saying...

Bryant hit his 3rd HR of the game in the 9th inning of a 10-4 blowout.. Lucky he didn't get beaned the head though.

I believe in comfort levels with some players as far as where they're hitting in the order. Vladdy has been hitting anywhere from 2-4 his whole life. That's where he belongs, he's a boss and he knows it. Getting Vladdy a guaranteed first inning AB is a no brainer.

Of course not. But a lot of old school managers, which everyone thinks Montoyo is, would never have moved up a struggling young player up in the lineup. Just pointing that out. I'm well aware that Vlad would have started raking regardless of whether he was moved up to 2, continued hitting in the 5 hole or was dropped to number 9.
