His groundout was 99.9 mph EV.

His first was 111.8 mph.

 

Keep hitting like that it’ll drop eventually

Its very alarming that Guerrero has been hitting grounders every at bat minus maybe 3 so far.

 

I find it a kind of worrying too to be honest but I don’t know if it means anything.

His usual launch angle in the minors was somewhere between 10-13’, so far in the majors it’s been a lot of negative angles hitting straight to the ground. It should return once he gets comfortable and finds his timing.

Like they said, this is basically the end of his Spring training. He seems to be getting the hang of things and hitting the ball hard. I expect in the next 10 games things will start taking off big time. Hopefully this weekend
