We'll see what happens when Buchholz comes up. Also once the league gets a "book" on Thornton he may not look the same.

Better to see what a 25 year old can do then a 34 year old

I just realized I don't hear the Cleveland drum guy.......you have to be thankful for small blessings.

buchholz is going to take Pannone's spot, not Thorton. It will be interesting to see what they do when Borucki is ready.

So they said they are really going to give Brito 3 weeks to see what he can do......WHY!!

They shouldn't even keep track of stats of mid 20s baseball players who play in the PCL....it just causes executives to make bad decisions..lol

Well after 3 weeks into the season we should hopefully see some changes no? I mean you can't keep players hitting .190 in the line up every day, can you?

That's 100% of the team right now though... You want to replace 100% of the team?

After 3 weeks into the season if the whole team is hitting.190 then I don't even know what to say honestly

You sing the "small sample size" song, and realize that it's 3 weeks into the season.

I fully get that its a 162 game season. But 3 weeks should be enough time to see who can hit and who cant. If you wait any longer its wastes opportunities for others

Wow, that was a LOT of complaints for a very obvious strike call...

You want the honest answer?

Man, there are like... 3 batters on this team that I'd probably ditch, the rest are guys I'd wait on...

....and the Bosox are trending to finish last in the east.

You're talking about someone with the equivalent of about 2 months of PA, only 75 of which have come outside of September/October. Still very small sample size territory here.

If you're talking more generally about the team rather than Brito, then go look at the big names batting worse to start the season. It's a long list, with a lot of all-star appearances.

Alford is the only guy I'd have up here that isn't up here. Vlad needs some "seasoning" (read: we need to get that extra year of control) and Bo, Biggio etc aren't knocking hard enough that I'd force them onto this team.

Why not just let him finish?

Did you watch the last AB? He was gassed. That was a really smart pull.
