It feels like Mayza is going to be optioned soon.

 

He's been awful. It's one thing as a hitter to start out rough or not have balls dropping for hits in the first few weeks, but when you're a fringe reliever as is and can't throw strikes that's a big no.

Hes aite at poker, he lasted more then most of the Jays in the Jays Care / Russel Martin tourney I went to last year, lol

The entire starting lineup plus everyone who's pitched is under 30, our second oldest player today is 27. If anything this game is proof of the exact opposite.

 

Yeah seriously. If anything this makes me wish the Jays kept rebuilding but used some dough on actual good players in free agency so the big league team could be watchable. This is brutal and there isn't even any long term prospects playing except Jansen. Our best prospects are still in the minors.

Yup. Sending him down to find his command makes sense. Problem is that Pannone is on the rotation now so there's no other lefties on the roster. Would have to be like Waguespack or Murphy.

This Offense is pretty brutal right now.

 

I really didn't think we would be worst than Baltimore but man the way the offense looks here we come 1st overall pick.

Screw having any particular arms in the pen during a rebuild. Take the guys who can perform best regardless of what hand. I'd rather see a righty give up a hit or two to a lefty than watch a lefty walk the batter just because matchups.
