Andrew Cashner

RHP

0-1, 13.50 ERA, 3 SO

The early off-day on the schedule allows Cashner to start two of the Orioles' first five games, both on full rest. The veteran righty allowed six runs over four-plus innings in Thursday's Opening Day loss to the Yankees.

Marcus Stroman

RHP

0-0, 0.00 ERA, 7 SO

Stroman carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning during his first start of the season. Toronto's ace is finally healthy after battling a shoulder injury for most of 2018, and he's 4-4 with a 3.55 ERA in 11 career appearances vs. the Orioles.

Great initiative for starting the GDT Corporal. I was going to recommend you for Sergeant until someone else beat you to putting the line-ups out in your own GDT..

Maybe next promotion cycle..

Now drop and give me 20!!

That's the attitude. Keep that up and you will be promoted in no time. Please treat Jim with respect when he is remanded to your custody for being a Russian spy;)

As long as it doesn't become a habit, he needs opportunities more than anyone to get out of a slide, mine as well send him down if they're not going to play him.

I agree. A day here and there to clear your head is good.

In his defense, they all have been pretty crappy..

We gave Grichuk and Morales a lot of rope last year.. EE always started off slow and had many problems at D when they were feeling him out at 3b..

I think his bat will come around.. I think the issue is he is a much better SS than 2b. I think his confidence or lack of on D affects his hitting. When they moved him over to SS last year he took off at the plate and did much better on D. 2b screws with him.

Agree though.. need to take more pitches.. Bad AB to seal the deal yesterday..:(

Hmmm... did LGJ get moved down to Buffalo to work on his swing/confidence?
