Who could have predicted the team leader in stolen bases would have 15 ?

 

 

Who could have predicted that the Blue Jays would have a bad year, just like last year. ?

 

 

Who could have predicted the last World series winner before the season even started ?

 

 

Who could have predicted the Stanley cup winner before the season even started ?

 

 

Who could have predicted all of this happening to the Blue Jays and put it in writing and said he would be back to say I told you so ?

I know ive said it before, but. Look at what the mariners have done. You need to actually play baseball in order to win.

 

Even if you are not built on speed. You need to attempt enough stolen bases to invoke fear in the opponent. I said this in March.

 

 

Playing against the blue jays has been a literal walk in the park for the last few years. Even if Vlad Jr and Bichette both pan out to be superstars and have no setbacks. Sadly it wont be enough.

Almost every gamble Shatkins has made has backfired. They held onto assets too long. I'm not sure which GM could have done worse with the cards given. The only positive thing they did, ironically, was not signing JB long term. Granted we knew this year was a write off anyways, I'm just upset that a lot of the trade chips we thought we had, are now valued extremely low.
