Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 f***ing pesky pole.... what a joke of a park lol Yeah, although I'd take the dimensions of this park 100 times out of 100 over what the Yankees have.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Granderson looks really out of sorts right now. He's getting fooled by everything
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 What's the statcast on that one I wonder... 305 feet maybe? Edit, how'd I know that was coming lol. 331 feet https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?game_pk=530824&type=exit_velocity&chart_view=pitch&chart_type=sbp&inning=&count=&batter_hand=&pitcher_hand=&filter= Hit it hard though!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Granderson looks really out of sorts right now. He's getting fooled by everything wRC+ 53 in July... Welp! Overall 117 though.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Should've won last night, and should be winning this one handily. Please no more errors, lol.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Maybe Martin needs to borrow those glasses that were making Morales see the ball too well.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Good job by DSJ. Never know where the ball is gonna go off the wall.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Great job by Petricka... *Golf Claps*

glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Oh has been so good this season. Thanks to the Rangers for signing him and then backing out at the last minute.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Author Posted July 14, 2018 Bullpen usage has been great tonight.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Author Posted July 14, 2018 Can someone explain to me how Mitch Moreland made the All-Star team?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Author Posted July 14, 2018 Smoak'd! On absolute fire. Quickly turning his season around.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 On absolute fire. Quickly turning his season around. He was never bad, you mean same as last season sure.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 He was never bad, you mean same as last season sure. Bingo. Was just about to post this. It was just a bad stretch in June lol.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Author Posted July 14, 2018 Votes. He wasn't voted in though. He was selected as a reserve. I mean his wrc is good but his BABIP is high and his overall numbers aren't very spectacular. Not All-Star worthy anyway.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Author Posted July 14, 2018 He was never bad, you mean same as last season sure. I didn't say he was bad. Hes hit 7 homeruns in his last 13 games. That's quite the turnaround.

Smoak had nothing to turn around, though, is the point. From the beginning of the season (March 29th) until June 3rd, he put up a 136 wRC+. From June 5th until June 27th, he put up a futile 47 wRC+. However, since June 29th, he's contributed a 210 wRC+ (not including tonight's assault). For almost the entire season, minus one awful stretch that lasted for only three weeks, Smoak's been well above average. He is especially hot right now, though.
