VBulletin offers cloud hosting for boards. I don't know if the price includes new versions, etc or not, or if those are charged separately, if they have DDOS protection, what tier we'd require, etc.

You should post the cost of upgrading to a better server. I’m sure a lot of people would be willing to throw a few bucks in.

I'll take a look at that. ** Just looked and it's $60USD/month for 200gb/month traffic. 200gb is an average month for us and it goes upwards to 400gb. They don't have a plan for that unfortunately.

I don't think it's a server issue. They're telling me it's a software issue but I find it hard to believe. It's just a big pain in the ass to switch servers, as we've all seen before. Down time, loss of posts, making sure everything works, etc.

I just did the upgrade on the software they said was the problem and doesn't seem to have fixed it.

Hit ctrl+f5 if you get an error it should refresh and work.

If you refresh the pages then newer posts will load, but it's still quite bad. It seems like it's defaulting to a backup state or something so new posts and threads won't automatically show up.

 

On the bright side, it does seem to be loading much faster lol.

Refresh the Main Forum page and it will update all new posts, but yeah, still messed up. Whoops nope it's unusable get this error ju1ced...

For anyone as f***ed as I am, I've found a bit of relief, use quick links, posts today. I can't find the mobile option, it's not there anymore. Yippy, Smoaky... should've bunted.

Not on my phone. No error message at all. On my computer yesterday i dont think there was an error message but i will try again when I get back from the gym

It seemed to be back to working as normal when I first noticed the updated banner, but now I'm back to having to refresh each new page in order to get new posts to appear.

You're right. If you're on PC it seems ctrl+f5 will refresh it but that shouldn't be like that.
