Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 You guys have like 7 politics threads in the other section to spew this crap in Have you read Fangraphs articles recently? Baseball and soy milk are one in the same now and it must be lamented everywhere.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 You should be thankful that he gave Canada it's greatest sports moment of the past 25 years not whining about how he's too cocky. People who whine about Bautista remind me of losers like Sam Dyson. Bautista is awesome. Just ask him. He'll tell you.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Yeah you've always oddly disliked him. Most of this board did really. I never got it. me either.....I hope Jose crushes it this year. He was one of my favourite players.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 BK 12:53 NL only 11 teamer, how much should I bid on Soroka this Sunday? What about Bautista? Paul Sporer 12:54 ~17-20%... who is Bautista?
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 He's on another team so no need to hold back. He's a whiny little bitch. Who also did a lot for charity in the city of Toronto...what's up Pot.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 It's a good thing Bautista held firm on his no hometown discount stance.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Who also did a lot for charity in the city of Toronto...what's up Pot. He absolutely did some good things, and was a glorious player in his prime. It's amazing how people can't separate the different parts of a person (professional, husband, father, public persona, etc). Some things worked well... Very well... But ignoring the parts that were subpar isn't giving a complete picture.

5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 It's pretty cool that AA was the guy to bring him in. Atlanta's been crushing it this year too! Didn't see that happening so quickly.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Yeah, the way I viewed Jose was "douchebag but he is our douchebag". Can't deny how great he was and the excitement the playoffs runs brought to the city. He'll be remembered very fondly.
