Brandonkoch716 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 What do you guys think about Urena? It seems with other Jays fans, they are down on him. He is 22....and playing a hard position at that age. Also, anyone with news on how long the Jays will have Travis down here? Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Non-prospect at this point. Best case scenario is journeyman utility guy. Doesn't hit enough or have a good enough glove to be a starter, is buried on the depth chart, and is also about to be surpassed by Bichette.

The reports I remember reading on him was that he had quite a good glove and arm.
Maico450 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Urena continues to make the easy plays look tough, and the tough plays look easy. He can be spectacular defensively at times, and then make an error. This will probably work itself out with time, he is still young. His bat however is still questionable, and with the Jays he is blocked from progressing by players with better bats. I would take him anyday over Gift.
